Online Post has completed both the offline and online for Surveillance City, a 6 x 30 minute television series produced by Flame Television for ITV London and The History Channel. Across Britain, your face is filmed by CCTV cameras up to 300 times a day. New databases and surveillance gadgets are being created all the time. Who is watching and what do you have to fear? Through access filming, news & archive footage and personal stories from either side of the law, each programme demonstrates how new technologies dominate crime detection and asks the question – "Who gets caught in the crossfire?"
Thousands of years ago in a land forgotten by time, there was a man who would become a warrior, who would then be king and - against all odds - at the edge of space would discover love. That man was known as Eucrine…..Eucrine, who begat Tourine, who begat Fournaline, who begat Orfine. So there!
Online Post has completed the offline, online and audio mix for Spare Time, a 60 minute documentary produced by Seneca Productions. Presented by the Turner Prize-winning artist Grayson Perry, this documentary explores the contemporary landscape of leisure, and makes some suggestions about how to get the most out of the time we call our own.
Are we getting the most, both as individuals and as a society, from our spare time? George Orwell celebrated the British for being ‘a nation of flower-lovers, stamp-collectors, pigeon-fanciers, coupon-snippers, darts-players, crossword-puzzle fans’. Our leisure habits have changed since then, but are we finding our leisure more rewarding as a result?
Online Post has recently completed work on Tarrant’s Way Series 2, Flame Television’s 8 x 60 minute television series for the ITV Network. Once again, Chris and Ingrid take to the road, travelling the country in their open top vintage 1938 Bentley, meeting personalities and characters and exploring relevant local issues. This is a follow-up to their successful first series for ITV London, for which Online completed all of the offline and online requirements. "We have been having a fantastic time and have met some extraordinary characters along the way," said Mr Tarrant. "The idea of the show is that we use roads which were in existence in the 1950s, in a time when there was less traffic and driving was a lot less stressful. It is an exploration of an old England, one which has passed by."
With a 42” HD plasma, stunning décor, air conditioning and windows to the outside world, our FCP1 suite is looking better than ever. Our HD suite is capable of dealing with all variety of formats, and can even online at 4:4:4 fully uncompressed HD. Hell, you could grade Sin City 2 on it. Robert Rodriguez, we’re looking at you!
Online Post has proudly completed the high definition offline and online for Son: The Making Of. Produced by Sister Films, this documentary features interviews and behind the scenes footage from BAFTA award winner Daniel Mulloy’s latest short film offering.
Son tells the story of an underground theatre director and the possessive grip he holds over his female colleague and her young son James. James' unhappy world unfolds in the confines of the theatre's vaults where soon reality and fiction become indistinguishable.
Online has completed a Symphony grade, online and audio for two documentaries made for Al Jazeera’s People and Power series as produced by Stampede. Monks of War examines the role of pro-war Buddhist monks against the Tamil tigers in Sri Lanka. Traditionally associated with the sacred principle of non-violence, these monks are urging the government to take a hard-line, pro-war stance against the Tamil Tiger rebels as they believe that only a full-out military offensive with end the conflict.
How The East Was Won reflects upon the Sri Lankan government’s expulsion of the Tamil Tiger fighters from the Toppigalla region in July this year. The government declared that its "war for peace" strategy had succeeded in the east of the country and that the region was 'liberated' from rebel forces. Juliana Ruhfus travels to Sri Lanka to investigate the true impact of the war, whether the Tamil Tigers really have been defeated and to find out what it will take for the east to return to normality.
Online Post has completed a Symphony grade and Pro Tools audio mix for Jake Auerbach’s fascinating documentary exploring the artist Allen Jones and his work.
As one of the most controversial artists of the British pop movement, Allen Jones has produced some of he most startling and zestful images of the past five decades and is most famous for his exhibitions of erotic sculptures. However, though much is known about his work, the man and his methods remain a mystery. This film explores his work with help from witnesses including his only sitter Prima Ballerina Darcey Bussell, his wife Deirdre Morrow, artist Gary Hume and, in an extensive interview, with Allen Jones himself.
In one of our fastest turnarounds ever, Online Post has completed the audio and final deliverables (including international) for Diana: The Inquest, a 60 minute documentary produced by Mentorn Media for Channel 5.
With just five days from date of commission to broadcast, this up-to-the-minute programme examines those questions at the very heart of the inquest itself and what has been revealed so far.
Online Post proudly completed the final offline, online, grade, graphics, voice-over record and audio mix for this compelling 60 minute documentary produced by Stampede Television for Channel 4. December 2007 marked 20 years since the founding of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas. Inside Hamas seeks to clear away some of the myths and tackle the hard truths about Hamas as it tries to run its own proto-state in Gaza, excluded from the official Palestinian peace process and starved of political contact by the West.
Filmed over two years and with unprecedented access to the heart of Hamas, this production looks at the organisation at a crucial time in its history. Inside Hamas interviews many of the leading local players, including the organisation’s exiled leader Khaled Mish’al, its surviving founder Abdel Fatah el Doghan, Gaza’s Military Commander Abu Omar, female Hamas MP Huda Naim, and former Gaza Israeli Defence Force’s Commander Nissim Levy.
The film asks whether Hamas wants peace with Israel. Starved of funding and without an international voice, how can Hamas build a state? If the West will not engage Hamas, what are the consequences? Can a militant organisation, dubbed terrorists by much of the western world, move from international pariah to meaningful political player?
The director Rodrigo Vazquez has filmed in Gaza many times; credits include the award-winning film The Killing Zone (2003).
Online Post has completed the online, grade, voice-over record and audio mix for both the broadcast and theatrical release versions of The Unwinking Gaze. Produced and directed by Joshua Dugdale, this film offers a unique, behind-the-scenes insight into the recent working life of Tibet’s would-be saviour and revered world icon the Dalai Lama.
The Unwinking Gaze was filmed over a period of three years with exceptional access showing the daily agonies of the Tibetan leader as he tries to strike a balance between his Buddhist vows and the realpolitik needed to placate China. David and Goliath is played out in front of us, as the world’s emerging superpower and the Dalai Lama walk a tightrope over an issue of global importance.
The Unwinking Gaze is not three years in the life of the Dalai. It is his life’s work in three years. This film takes you inside the titanic struggle of one of the great spiritual and political figures of our time, as he tries to lead his people to a peaceful resolution with China.
Inside Hamas has been nominated for best documentary on a contemporary issue by The Griersons: The British Documentary Awards 2008. Online Post proudly completed the final offline, online, grade, graphics, voice-over record and audio mix for this compelling 60 minute documentary produced by Stampede Television for Channel 4.

Timeless Journeys India is a First Light production created exclusively for distribution by TVF International. Online Post Production completed the final online, grade and all versions for international release.
Timeless Journeys is a film that flows through time, a spiritual journey through Northern India and then deep into ourselves. From Bodhgaya where the Buddha gained enlightenment, to Ladakh on the Tibetan border, the Buddha’s teachings (the dharma) are examined in relation to the world today.
Set to an original score, it is a beautifully crafted film shot in high definition, with interviews and reflections, time lapsed photography and stunning slow moving portraits. It weaves through the history and landscapes of rural India, through the pink city of Jaipur, the floating palaces of Udaipur, the Taj Mahal, the burning ghats at Varanasi until the final resolution at Bodhgaya.
Timeless Journeys India is a meditation on who we are and why we are here, what we are part of and if we can find happiness in a world of stress and speed.
Buena Vista Social Club, the album produced by Ry Cooder, is the biggest selling world music album ever, with over 8 million records sold.
Now for the first time comes the recording of the historic performance at New York's famous Carnegie Hall, which became the centrepiece of the hugely successful film directed by Wim Wenders. This is only the second album ever by the original Buena Vista Social Club.
Online Post has created a 30 second commercial and music video for the opening track Chan Chan, to promote the album’s world-wide release. Commissioned by World Circuit, this video combines footage from the original movie with subtle visual effects to reflect all of the "emoción" that the Cuban & American audience felt on this legendary night when Buena Vista Social Club performed to a sold out audience.
Produced by Ry Cooder, the album features brilliant and unrepeatable performances by legends including Ibrahim Ferrer, Compay Segundo, Ruben González, Eliades Ochoa, Omara Portuondo, Cachaíto López, and Guajiro Mirabal.
