Conversion

We use Snell & Wilcox’s Alchemist Ph.C-HD, the industry standard for broadcast conversions. It is motion-compensated and approved for use by all the major broadcasters for PAL/NTSC standards conversions and HD up/down/cross conversions.

Alchemist Ph.C-HD yields converted images of unparalleled quality and clarity so that even the most dynamic content is delivered with stunning detail, free from artifacts and virtually indistinguishable from the original input. It is designed to handle any frame rate (23, 24, 25, 50, 60fps), various resolutions (PAL, NTSC, 1080i, 1080p, 720p) and aspect ratios (4:3, 16:9, 14:9, letterbox, etc).

QC / QAR

Online Post Production has a wealth of experience in quality control and assessment. Our team has been fully trained by a BBC accredited consultant and can offer a comprehensive range of QC and QAR services for tape and file-based workflows, from a simple spot check to a full quality assessment report. We also offer Harding FPA evaluation as required.
